Tap “Hear it” for English + Arabic. Tap “Arabic only” to listen and repeat. Turn up your device volume.

Color hunt: Find a blue, yellow, or green object. Point to its color and say the matching sentence together. Green is akhdar (أخضر). These examples use the masculine form hatha.

Use ismuka when asking a boy and ismuki when asking a girl. Arabic nouns also have grammatical gender. The recordings may include sentence endings such as -un; the simple school transliterations leave these off.

Dear parents

You don’t need to speak Arabic.

Five happy minutes is enough. Play a card, explain the English meaning, then let your child repeat twice or act it out. Praise a brave try—not perfect pronunciation. Finish with “MashaAllah!”
